PixelCat
PixelCat is a bot on #callahans on undernet. He was created around February 2003 by Brendan K Callahan. PixelCat has an extensive list of triggers, most of which are done by actions.
PixelCat was created after MaxCat was removed from channel.
Callahan
Mike Callahan is a bot on Undernet #callahans. He was originally coded by Confucius in mIRCScript and hosted by Donovan-, but after those two left the channel he was re-developed as a modified Eggdrop bot. With a series of TCL scripts, the new Mike Callahan can do everything the old one can and more. His abilities were proven when the channel lost X (the Undernet Channel Services bot) due to zem's disappearance and Callahan bravely took over the duties of keeping us secure and opping people when necessary. He is currently running in the channel, released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 License.
The current release version can be identified by the host mask "callahan@MikeCallahan.users.undernet.org", while the older one is "mike@Callahan.users.undernet.org". This bot's development page is hosted at 3whack.org (Requires registration to post, but not read). The current source is at 3whack.org. His current help page is also hosted at 3whack.org.
Tom Hauptmann
On Freenode. Tom was originally created as a temporary substitute while the old Undernet Callahan bot was off-line for an extended period. When the Freenode #callahans was created, he became the regular bartender bot there, and has since also become a fixture on Undernet as well. In early 2007, he was removed from Undernet because his host was running into an Undernet limit on simultaneous connects; if the limit is raised, he will return.
Wurlitzer
In the early days of undernet #callahans, there was a jukebox bot called "Wurlitzer". This bot would play requests in a queued fashion. Development work is currently being done to bring back this nostalgia from the early undernet days. (Currently in a two week trial in channel on undernet.)
X
X is the Undernet's Channel Services bot, given to a channel when it is successfully registered. The bot helps maintain permabans, curb flooding (by use of the dynamic channel limit) and generally secure the channel from any attacks. In addition, it maintains control over the channel by opping the necessary channel administrators. Most ops on the channel have the same level of authority (450) except the manager who has 500 and total access to the bot.
In April 2007, X left the channel and never returned. The reason was because the former channel manager (zem) did not log in for a number of weeks. Part of the channel registration contract is that the manager has to log in frequently, and if that doesn't happen the channel will be automatically de-registered to prevent a channel from being "locked" into place. Currently, there are motions to elect a new channel manager set in place, and X has returned as of May 2, 2007.
